Last week, we received a video sent by an European distributor. In the video, he demonstrated the usage of the LFAM technology AM antenna in their customers' stores - by passing test labels at different angles through the antenna, and it would always trigger an accurate alarm each time.
He wrote a paragraph in the email, roughly meaning: "It has been used for 8 months and all tests have been normal. It has never broken down, never given false alarms, and never needed adjustment."
What's in the video?
The video is not long, approximately two minutes. The shooting location was at the exit of the checkout line of a medium-sized supermarket. The AM antennas installed at both ends were sent out in October 2025.
He deliberately tried three angles: walking past the label on the front, walking past it at an angle, and walking past it close to the edge of the antenna. Each time the antenna gave off a normal alarm, and the lights and sounds were all fine. The cashier was watching nearby, looking very natural and not being disturbed.
What did he say?
In the email, he didn't use any polite words. He simply said: "These antennas have not had any problems since they were installed. We haven't spent any time dealing with after-sales issues.
Can we maintain this batch's quality?"
This is actually quite important to us. Because we have always been telling our customers about the detection distance and the low false alarm rate, but what they really care about is: after installation, can it be trouble-free? No need to frequently adjust, no need to frequently repair, no need to be complained about by the stores - that's a good product.
He used the antenna from whom?
Later, they chatted on WhatsApp. He said that he had been using the antenna from another supplier before. It worked fine for the first half a year, but then problems started to arise, such as shorter detection distances and more false alarms. Every time, they had to wait for technicians to come and re-adjust it. The store couldn't wait and the complaints reached their company.
After installing this batch of antennas from Changli Fangmei Technology, they haven't been adjusted for 8 months and he hasn't contacted the client either. What he said was: "Not contacting is good news."
What does it mean to us?
This order is not a huge one - several dozen antennas, which is a normal purchase volume for a distributor. But this feedback itself is more persuasive than a large order.
Because what he said referred to the usage status eight months later - not the status immediately after installation, but the status after a complete sales cycle. During this period, there were peak holiday traffic periods, seasonal changes, and display adjustments. The antenna continued to function normally.
This is what we tell our customers about "stability" - it's not something measured in a laboratory; it's something that emerges after standing beside the supermarket checkout line for eight months.
