In a significant move to solidify its global supply chain, Brazilian retail technology powerhouse Inwave Technologies dispatched a high-level delegation to the Dongguan manufacturing base of Lifangmei Technology (also known as Lifmei) on June 23.

The visit, centered at Lifangmei's facility in Tangxia Town, was strategically aimed at conducting a thorough, on-the-ground evaluation of the Chinese manufacturer's capabilities as a core Electronic Article Surveillance (EAS) hardware supplier. This due diligence exercise is seen as a pivotal step towards forging a robust supply partnership for both the Latin American and European markets.

Inwave, headquartered in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, has cemented its position as Latin America's leading provider of EAS systems and AIoT-powered smart retail solutions. The company has successfully pivoted from a traditional hardware manufacturer to a comprehensive retail technology platform, integrating AIoT, big data, RFID, and real-time analytics.
