A European Customer Asked: Can Your Antennas Integrate With Our System

Last month, a French customer asked a question I don't hear often.

"Can your EAS antennas integrate with our system?"

He wasn't asking about detection range. He wasn't asking about price. He was asking about integration.

EMENO's antennas can do more than just "make a sound." Our AM acoustic-magnetic antennas support CCTV linkage — triggering camera recording when an alarm occurs. They support relay output for connecting to other devices. The AM100 mainboard can output signal data and alarm records via the tuning software.

But the customer was asking about deeper integration — sending alarm data to their headquarters system to analyze alongside POS and inventory data.

This is an industry trend. Sensormatic launched Category-Level Shrink Insights last year. Checkpoint released the HALO IoT platform. EAS data is moving from "alarm" to "insight."

EMENO doesn't build platforms. We build the hardware — AM9800X, AM8089, AM8208 antennas, AM100 and AM100E mainboards. We have interfaces and data output capabilities. Customers and integrators can build their own platforms on top.

The French customer is still evaluating. But the fact that he's asking the question tells me something: EAS antennas are no longer just "alarms." They're becoming "data nodes."
