The EAS hard label market is projected to reach 1.799 billion US dollars by 2026. Lifangmei Technology has both production lines operating at full capacity.
According to a market report: The global EAS hard tag market is expected to reach approximately 1.799 billion US dollars in 2025 and is projected to grow to 2.472 billion US dollars by 2032. The main driving force is the continuous increase in retail theft, including shoplifting and organized retail crime. The growth of retail theft indicates an increase in the demand for hard tags.
Hard labels are different from soft labels. Soft labels are disposable and are thrown away after use. Hard labels, on the other hand, are recyclable. One label can be used hundreds of times.
From the customer's perspective: The purchase cost of hard labels is a one-time investment, but the long-term usage cost is lower than that of soft labels.
From the perspective of Lifangmei Technology: Hard labels are "high-frequency repeat purchase items". Customers won't just make a single purchase. They will need to replenish if they lose it, if it gets damaged, or if they open a new store. As long as the customers continue to operate, the demand for hard labels will always exist.
The shipment records of hard labels in the first half of the year can illustrate some situations:
During NRF PROTECT 2026: A batch of 5 pallets of AM hard labels were shipped, to an old customer in Mexico, totaling 100,000 pieces
European market: More than 300 AM antennas were combined with a large quantity of hard labels and shipped to Europe
The production capacity of hard labels is currently being operated by two production lines simultaneously. The Pencil type (55mm × 12mm) and the Mini Bottle type (Ø36mm) are the main models. Black, gray, and white are produced according to orders.
The supply of lock opening tools is also part of the hard label business - lock opening tools with magnetic force ≥ 11500GS, which are compatible with all AM hard labels. If the lock opening tools are not functioning properly, the recovery rate of hard labels will decrease, and the customer will have to constantly replenish new supplies.
