The global EAS market is expected to reach 610 million US dollars by 2026

The global supermarket anti-theft system market sales will be approximately 590 million US dollars in 2025, expected to reach 610 million US dollars in 2026, and projected to reach 785 million US dollars in 2032, with a compound annual growth rate of about 4.3%.

Another figure comes from QYResearch - the global market size of EAS security systems will be approximately 1.687 billion US dollars in 2025, and is expected to reach 2.324 billion US dollars by 2032. Although the statistical methods of different institutions vary, the direction is consistent: the market is growing, not explosively, but steadily increasing.

What are the growth drivers?

The report lists several factors: the complexity of retail theft, the continuous rise of organized retail crime (ORC), the need for greater protection of high-loss categories in an inflationary environment, and the new loss prevention demands brought about by the widespread use of self-checkout.

These are not theories. In the industry news for the first half of 2026, reports related to ORC were significantly more than in previous years.
